Unpacking psychological inequalities in organisations: Psychological capital reconsidered

In this paper, we argue that psychological capital is unequally distributed among people from different social classes, ethnic backgrounds and genders. Confronting the limitations of current, individualistic perspective on capital, offer a re-conceptualisation construct critical, interdisciplinary perspective, placing it at intersection sociology psychology. We discuss various mechanisms through which inequalities may cause differential access to for members low- high-status groups show how results in exacerbates inequalities. By doing this, postulate recursive theory both recognises formative effect socio-organisational structures one's psychology vice versa.
